Curry / Steak nights
We will be soon be starting Curry
nights on a Monday and Steak nights on a
Wednesday on a weekly basis. So for all you
curry and steak lovers, this will be right up
you street. Please see our dining page for
further information.
Football update
Introducing the Lapstone Sunday Football Team,
for season 11/12 in the Sunday morning league.
Starting in September (with friendly’s and
practice during the summer months).
The season has now started and you can
follow the progress of the team on Facebook, the
Lapstone football club group page.
Over 60’s club
We are starting up an Over 60's Club which will
run from Monday - Thursday 12pm - 3pm. We have
listened to your feedback that sometimes the
portions on the main menus are slightly too big,
therefore we have come up with a weekly menu to
suit your needs. if you fancy coming out with
your friends / family for a bite to eat and a
catch up we would love to see you.
Valentines Night
We thought this year we would do something
slightly different from the normal romantic
evening out. We are pleased to welcome Lucinda
Lashes to The Lapstone who will be here to
entertain you with a comedy evening. We have
put together a set menu for this evening (click
here to view), £35 – 2 people, 2 course
including a bottle of house wine.

Ladies Nights / Outings
For us Ladies of the Lapstone we are looking to
put together something for you on a Friday
night, this will be along the lines of specific
cocktails, food and entertainment. We are also
going to be arranging some theatre trips to the
mayflower, Ladies day at Ascot and various other
ventures.

Charity events
In 2011 we supported many charities including
British Heart Foundation, St Francis Animal
Welfare, Countess Mountbatten Hospice, Hampshire
and Isle of Wight Air Ambulance, Megan’s Quest,
The Poppy Appeal, Everyman Male Cancer Charity
to name a few. 2012 will also see us carrying
out various charity nights throughout the year
and we will keep you updated on how we are
raising money as well as how you can get
involved. We carried out a charity night in
aid of British Heart Foundation which I’m sure
many of you attended and enjoyed immensely. We
will soon be making a presentation to the BHF
over the next few months.
